Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) – Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGP) has issued a new gas load-shedding schedule for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the months of December to February. According to the schedule, consumers will be provided gas in three daily intervals to help them manage breakfast, cooking, and other routine tasks.
Morning, Afternoon and Evening Timings
As per the new schedule:
• Gas will be available from 5:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
• Consumers can use gas from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
• Gas will also be supplied from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Industrial Sector & Gas Availability
SNGP officials stated that there is no load-shedding for the industrial sector, although gas demand has increased significantly during winter. Officials added that gas is available in the system and there is no shortage.
Instructions for Consumers
SNGP has urged consumers to use gas wisely, keeping in mind its cost and limited availability. Efficient usage will not only help in energy conservation but will also allow citizens to plan better during load-shedding hours.
