Metro53 - Faisalabad (Web Desk) – Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has called for the creation of three to four new provinces in Punjab, along with additional provinces in Sindh.

Speaking at a workers’ convention in Faisalabad, the President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party said that increasing the number of provinces would benefit the public rather than harm anyone. He stated that Punjab should be divided into new provinces based on central, southern, and northern regions, as people often have to travel long distances, causing unnecessary difficulties.

He expressed the same viewpoint regarding Sindh, saying that separate provinces should be formed under the names Northern Sindh, Central Sindh, and Southern Sindh to ensure justice and basic facilities reach people at their doorstep. Aleem Khan expressed disappointment that a major city like Faisalabad still lacks a High Court bench.

The federal minister also announced that the motorway from Faisalabad to Pindi Bhattian will be expanded from four lanes to six, and work on the Faisalabad–Lahore GT Road will begin soon.
