Metro53 - Murree (Web Desk):According to a notification issued by the Punjab Education Department, the district administration of the Queen of Hills has announced extended winter vacations due to the cold season.
As reported by private TV channel Express News, the notification issued by the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority Murree states that extended winter holidays in the hilly areas of Murree and Kotli Sattian will remain in effect from December 22 to March 7.
The winter vacation notification further states that all public and private schools and colleges in Murree and Kotli Sattian will reopen on March 9.
The notification also directs that all heads of educational institutions must ensure the completion of midterm examinations and announce the results before the commencement of winter vacations.
