Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Lalamusa Circle Police carried out major operations against illegal arms holders and drug peddlers, arresting three suspects and recovering a large quantity of liquor and weapons.
According to details, on the directives of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq and under the supervision of DSP Lalamusa Circle Chaudhry Ahsan Zafar Sandhu, police operations against criminal elements are ongoing across the circle.
SHO City Police Station Lalamusa, Anasar Mehmood, along with ASI Saqlain Haider and other members of the police team, conducted a raid and arrested accused Ali Hassan, a resident of Qazian, recovering 10 liters of liquor from his possession. In another operation, police recovered a 12-bore rifle from accused Rizwan, a resident of Nandwal.
Meanwhile, SHO Saddar Police Station Lalamusa, Inspector Fahad ur Rehman, along with ASI Azmat Ali, arrested accused Hassan, a resident of Qasba, for possessing illegal weapons and recovered a 30-bore pistol.
Cases have been registered against all arrested suspects at the respective police stations. According to a spokesperson for Gujrat Police, such operations will continue without interruption to eliminate crime from the district.
