Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): Renowned Pakistani anchor and television host Iqrar Ul Hassan has announced the formation of a new political party, stating that he will formally unveil the name of his movement on January 15.
Addressing the youth, Iqrar Ul Hassan highlighted Punjab’s political and development landscape, saying that former Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif carried out several development projects for Punjab, while Mohsin Naqvi, during his tenure as caretaker chief minister, oversaw the construction of multiple underpasses.
He said that Punjab has been fortunate in this regard, as most of its rulers, including Maryam Nawaz, have contributed through their work, with the exception of Usman Buzdar. He added that political parties are not like shops that are handed over to someone else after an individual’s death; rather, they are strong institutions.
Iqrar Ul Hassan further said that the complete registration procedure and other details would also be announced. He clarified that his objective is not to promote personal ideologies, but to offer solutions to Pakistan’s problems through the establishment of a new political party.
