Metro53 - Five friends, including two real brothers, were killed in a tragic road accident involving the groom’s car in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the groom survived miraculously.
According to a private TV channel Geo News, the accident occurred due to overspeeding near Bab-e-Khyber, where a car collided head-on with a truck, resulting in a horrific crash.
Rescue officials said the groom was scheduled to get married later the same day. The accident occurred when his friends were taking him back home after getting him ready at a salon. As a result of the collision, the car was completely destroyed.
Upon receiving information, rescue teams and police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to nearby Jamrud Hospital. Police stated that initial investigations suggest overspeeding and negligence as the cause of the accident, while further investigation is underway.
