Metro53 - Bajaur (Web Desk): Reports have emerged of a bomb blast outside the residence of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Deputy Amir and former provincial assembly candidate, Maulana Waheed Gul, in Bajaur. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in the incident.
According to police, the explosion occurred right outside Maulana Waheed Gul’s house, causing panic in the surrounding area. As a result of the blast, partial damage was caused to the house and a vehicle belonging to Maulana Waheed Gul.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police personnel immediately reached the scene, cordoned off the area, and launched an investigation.
Confirming the explosion, Maulana Waheed Gul stated that no one was injured in the blast. Meanwhile, District Police Officer Waqas Rafiq said that initial investigations suggest an improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the attack, and further inquiries are underway.
