Metro53 - Quetta – Security forces successfully foiled attacks at 12 locations across Balochistan, killing a total of 108 militants belonging to Fitna-e-Hindustan, while 10 personnel of the police and security forces were martyred during the clashes.
According to security sources, further operations are ongoing to pursue the militants. Over the past two days, 41 militants were killed in operations conducted in Panjgur and Shaban.
Security forces and other law enforcement agencies carried out timely and effective actions, eliminating 58 militants during these operations.
Security sources said that late at night, militants launched cowardly attacks at multiple locations in Balochistan, during which 10 personnel of the police and security forces embraced martyrdom.
The militants also killed five members of a Baloch laborer family in Gwadar, including one woman and three children.
Security sources stated that all attacks were successfully thwarted and that security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing pursuit operations at various locations. Reports of additional militant casualties and losses have also been received.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for foiling militant attacks in Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin, Pasni, and Gwadar. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and for patience for their families.
The Prime Minister said that he, along with the entire nation, is proud of the martyrs, and that officers and soldiers of the security forces remain committed to protecting the country. He added that the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete elimination, and that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in safeguarding Pakistan.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also condemned the militant attacks in Balochistan and commended the security forces and law enforcement agencies for foiling them.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan’s brave sons neutralized the militants through timely and effective action, saluting the personnel who thwarted the militants’ malicious intentions.
The Interior Minister paid tribute to the personnel who embraced martyrdom while foiling the attacks, saying their sacrifices defeated the designs of India-sponsored militants. He added that the nation takes pride in its brave sons, describing the martyrs as national heroes whose sacrifices will always be remembered.
