Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): The formal issuance of Green Property Certificates has commenced in Gujrat, marking a significant step toward transparency and legal protection in land records.
Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi distributed the Green Property Certificates among citizens during a ceremony held at her office. According to the district administration, the initiative is part of the Government of Punjab’s modern land reforms policy aimed at making the property system more secure and reliable.
The certificates are being issued by the Punjab Land Records Authority and have been digitally secured through QR codes. Citizens can scan the code to verify the document online, significantly reducing the chances of forgery and record tampering.
District officials stated that this initiative will not only bring greater transparency to property transactions but will also strengthen public trust in the government system.
