Metro53 - Mangwal (Mirza Adil) – A domestic dispute in the village of Gumerali, under Mangwal Police Station, took a violent turn when Mohammad Atif King allegedly attacked his own father, Mohammad Riaz King, by repeatedly striking him with suits in a confined room.
The elderly man sustained serious injuries and was immediately transferred to Major Shabbir Sharif Hospital for urgent medical treatment, where he received initial care.
The Mangwal police reached the scene promptly and arrested the suspect, Atif, on the spot. However, a formal case against him has not yet been registered.
Local residents and social activists have demanded that authorities take strict action against the accused, register a proper case, and ensure legal punishment to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
Police sources confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and further developments will be revealed once legal procedures are completed.
