Metro53 - In Gujrat, a prestigious fundraising and Iftar dinner was organized for the Kidney Center Gujrat, where philanthropists and residents generously contributed more than Rs220 million in donations.
According to details, citizens and philanthropists of Gujrat donated Rs90 million, while the 51-member Board of Governors pledged Rs130 million annually, bringing the total collected donations to over Rs220 million. The gathering also paid tribute to the remarkable humanitarian services of the Kidney Center’s President, Mian Muhammad Ejaz, for his dedication to serving suffering humanity and promoting selfless welfare work.
Speakers highlighted that the initiative started in 2016 by former Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Liaquat Ali Chatha has now grown into a strong and flourishing institution. Over the past ten years, the Kidney Center has provided exemplary services and has become a source of hope and relief for poor and deserving patients.
The fundraising event was hosted by prominent businessman Asif Ali Chaudhry, whose excellent arrangements for the event were widely appreciated.
Distinguished guests included former MNA Chaudhry Mubashar Hussain, Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, Chaudhry Umar Saeed, Haji Muhammad Ilyas, Chaudhry Muhammad Zaman, Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, Haji Amjad Ali Chaudhry, Chairman Pakistan Union Norway Chaudhry Qamar Iqbal, Nasir Mahmood, Razaullah Mughal and Atif Masood.
