Metro53 - In Gujrat, the District Health Authority Gujrat carried out an anti-quackery operation and sealed a medical store following a public complaint.
The action was taken on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi and under the supervision of CEO District Health Authority Dr Atta.
During the raid in the area of Jheeranwali, officials inspected the Zehra Medical Store where the store owner was caught red-handed administering injections to patients and practicing allopathic treatment illegally.
Authorities recovered several used syringes, different injections, and IV infusion bottles from the site. Evidence was collected and the clinic was sealed on the spot.
The case has been forwarded to the Punjab Healthcare Commission for further legal action.
