Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk) – President of Muslim League (Q) and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain met with a 20-member delegation of scholars and religious leaders.

According to Dunya News, the meeting highlighted appreciation for the Pakistan Army’s successful operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, and condemned US and Israeli attacks on Iran.

The scholars stated that no foreign agendas or conspiracies would be allowed to take root in Pakistan, and that the nation stands united with the armed forces. They emphasized that the solution to challenges faced by the Muslim world lies in unity and solidarity, calling Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain a national asset.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain remarked that scholars and religious leaders play a key role in promoting a peaceful society and national cohesion. He highlighted that Islam teaches peace, love, brotherhood, tolerance, and service to humanity.

He urged religious leaders to use their voice to foster unity, harmony, and communal solidarity. The former Prime Minister praised the armed forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stating that the nation stands with the military in the fight against terrorism.

Chaudhry Shujaat emphasized the collective responsibility to rid the country of terrorism and transform it into a cradle of peace, adding that scholars should educate the public about the Islamic principle that cleanliness is half of faith.
