Metro53 - Sydney (Web Desk) – Former Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has announced the birth of his third daughter. The cricketer shared the happy news on Instagram.
In his Instagram post, Khawaja revealed that his third daughter, Ameera Maya, was born on Friday, March 13. He also shared a family photo with the newborn, writing:
"We are very grateful to welcome another beautiful girl – 8 more to go for the full team!"
The 39-year-old Khawaja was born in Islamabad, Pakistan, and married Rachel Khawaja, who converted to Islam, in early 2018. He already has two daughters, Ayesha Raheel and Aila Fawzia.
Earlier this year, Usman Khawaja announced his retirement from Test cricket before the fifth Ashes Test.
