Pakistan’s Hajj Flights Take Off | First Karachi Departure

Metro53 - KARACHI (Web Desk) – Hajj flight operations have officially commenced across the country, with the first flight departing from Karachi carrying 160 pilgrims via a private airline.

According to reports, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and senior officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs saw off the pilgrims and extended their शुभ wishes. This year, more than 31,000 pilgrims will depart for the holy land from Karachi Airport.

Under the Road to Makkah project, Saudi authorities will complete one-time immigration for Hajj pilgrims at Karachi Airport.

Earlier, addressing a special ceremony for the first Hajj flight at Karachi Airport, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori said that those going for Hajj are truly fortunate. He urged pilgrims to pray for the country’s progress, for the well-being of people living in Pakistan, and for the ability to earn a lawful livelihood.
