Gujrat Police Launch Major Crackdown, 3 Arrested with Drugs & Illegal Arms

Metro53 - Gujrat: Police carried out a strong operation against drug dealers and illegal arms holders, arresting three suspects as part of an ongoing district-wide campaign directed by District Police Officer Rana Umar Farooq.

According to details, in the limits of City Lala Musa Police Station, under the supervision of DSP Circle Lala Musa Chaudhry Ehsan Zafar Sandhu, SHO Inspector Nisar Mahmood conducted a raid and arrested accused Imran Jameel, recovering 10 liters of liquor from his possession.

Similarly, SHO Munir Hussain of Kunjah Police Station, along with his team, arrested accused Adnan Ashraf and recovered 10 liters of liquor along with a 30-bore pistol.

In another action, SHO Inspector Subtain Naveed of Daulat Nagar Police Station arrested accused Muazzam Ali and recovered more than one kilogram of hashish from him.

Police said separate cases have been registered against all the accused and further investigations are underway. Authorities have also reiterated that the crackdown against such elements will continue across the district.
