Two Suspects Held in Gujrat Motorcycle Theft Cases, Five Stolen Bikes Recovered

Metro53 - GUJRAT: Police in Gujrat claimed to have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents and recovered five stolen motorcycles during an ongoing crackdown against criminal elements.

According to police officials, the operation was carried out by the Lorry Adda police station on the basis of intelligence inputs and modern investigative techniques.

The arrested suspects were identified as Tabassum Abbas and Osama Irfan, both residents of Nasir Colony in Gujrat.

Police said the suspects were allegedly involved in a number of motorcycle theft cases in different parts of the city, including Mohallah Kaloo Pura. Officials added that the accused were traced and arrested within a few days through timely action.

During the initial operation, police recovered four stolen motorcycles from the suspects’ possession. Further investigation later led Saddar Gujrat police to recover another stolen Honda 125 motorcycle linked to the accused.

Police authorities said operations against thieves, robbers and other criminal elements would continue across the district to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
