Metro53 - GUJRANWALA: A young shopkeeper was shot dead in Gujranwala after a dispute over payment for meat mincing services escalated into violence, police said.
According to police officials, the incident took place in the Gulshan Rehman area, where a customer had visited a shop to have meat minced. Authorities said the man allegedly left the premises without paying the required charges.
Police said the shopkeeper later went to the suspect's residence to complain about the unpaid amount. The confrontation reportedly angered the suspect, leading to a heated exchange.
During the dispute, the suspect allegedly opened fire on the shopkeeper, inflicting fatal injuries. The victim died as a result of the shooting.
Law enforcement officials responded to the incident and arrested the suspect shortly afterward.
