Metro53 - Lahore: Well-known TikToker and social media influencer Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Nani Wala, spent the night in police custody following his arrest in a traffic-related case, according to police sources.
Police said Nadeem Mubarak is expected to be produced before the Cantt Court. A case has been registered against him at Defence C Police Station on the complaint of Traffic Warden Inspector Muhammad Fahad Rehman.
According to the FIR, the TikToker allegedly ignored a signal to stop his luxury vehicle and instead drove onto a one-way road. The case includes charges of negligent and reckless driving, obstructing official duties, and threatening a public servant.
Police sources stated that after his arrest, Nadeem Mubarak was initially seated in a room before being shifted to a lock-up. Authorities also recovered his luxury vehicle from his residence and impounded it at Defence C Police Station.
Sources further revealed that no visitors came to meet him throughout the night. He reportedly ate a meal of lentils and rice, remained dressed in a black shirt and trousers, and was unable to sleep during the night. Police added that he used the washroom facilities available inside the lock-up.
The investigation is ongoing, and further legal proceedings will be carried out in accordance with the law.
