While talking to various delegations from Gujrat in Islamabad, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that he, along with Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, is working without discrimination for the development of Gujrat and the welfare of its people. He added that turning promises made to the public into reality remains his top priority.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain informed that the mega sewerage project in Gujrat will formally commence next year. He said the project will significantly improve the drainage system in both urban and rural areas and help reduce environmental problems. According to him, the initiative will align Gujrat’s infrastructure with modern requirements.
The Federal Minister further stated that an electric bus service will be launched in Gujrat next January, providing affordable, comfortable, and environment-friendly transport facilities to millions of residents of the city and surrounding rural areas.
Referring to ongoing development works in rural areas under N-64, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that projects worth millions of rupees are being completed to improve road infrastructure, basic amenities, and resolve other public issues. He expressed confidence that by next year, Gujrat city will be largely free of major problems and that the journey of development will continue at an even faster pace.
