Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President and former Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, has said that the appointment of Mahmood Khan Achakzai as Opposition Leader will prove positive for democracy.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi contacted Mahmood Khan Achakzai by telephone and congratulated him on being appointed as the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly.
During the conversation, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that Mahmood Khan Achakzai is a senior and respected parliamentarian. He added that under Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s leadership, the opposition will play a strong, positive, and constructive role in parliament.
