Metro53 - Tehran (Web Desk) – Reports circulating in certain media outlets have claimed that Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, was killed in an alleged joint attack attributed to the United States and Israel.

According to these reports, an image has also been released of a young girl identified as his granddaughter, Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani, who was reportedly present at the residence at the time of the alleged strike. Some media accounts claim the child was 14 months old.

The reported attack was said to have taken place in the early hours of Saturday, February 28. Additional claims suggest that members of Khamenei’s family, including his daughter and son-in-law, were also among those killed.

However, no independent international verification of these claims has been confirmed at this time. Observers caution that information emerging from conflict situations can be difficult to verify immediately.

Authorities have not released detailed internationally confirmed statements regarding the incident.
