Metro53 - LAHORE (Web Desk): PML-N Punjab Assembly Member Saqib Chadhar has thanked Allah after he and his wife, Samira, were declared innocent for the time being in the harassment case filed by actress Momina Iqbal.
Speaking about the development, Saqib Chadhar said, “I thank Allah, who has today vindicated me. It has now been proven that this case was false and baseless.”
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) submitted its report regarding the case registered on Momina Iqbal’s complaint over allegations of harassment and threats.
According to the investigation officer, the NCCIA changed the investigation and constituted a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to conduct a fresh probe.
The investigation officer further informed the court that the arrest of Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Samira, is not required at this stage.
Following the statement of the investigation officer, Saqib Chadhar withdrew his interim bail application.
