Metro53 - Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Aleema Khan, sister of Imran Khan, has said that any judge who cannot provide justice should step down from their position.
Speaking to the media outside the court, Aleema Khan expressed concern over the alleged isolation of the PTI founder, stating that the law allows weekly meetings with family members, lawyers and relatives, but this policy is not being fully implemented.
Aleema Khan stated that the Islamabad High Court is not scheduling hearings on Imran Khan’s appeals because, according to her, if the appeals are heard, “they will have to grant him bail.” She claimed that there is urgency only in announcing a sentence in the case against him, and she has been informed that a verdict is expected within the next ten to twelve days. She added that she will not back down from protesting.
Aleema Khan further claimed that a fake interview attributed to her was created using artificial intelligence in India but was detected within minutes, which, according to her, proves the fabrication was carried out in Pakistan. She said that Pakistani media does not air her interviews, while international media remains in constant contact.
According to her, the law allows six family members and six lawyers to meet Imran Khan on Tuesdays, while six friends or relatives can meet him on Thursdays. She added that Bushra Bibi is also entitled to visits from six family members.
