Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Dangerous kite flying incidents continue in Gujrat, where a 35-year-old man was injured after a sharp metal string struck his neck.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the incident occurred near Shaheen Chowk. The injured man, identified as Waheed Masih, was walking home when a fast-moving metallic kite string suddenly wrapped around his neck, leaving him injured.
Rescue teams responded quickly to the scene and provided initial medical aid before shifting the injured man to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Residents have expressed concern that despite the ban, hazardous kite flying with metal strings continues, while enforcement actions appear limited to symbolic measures.
