Metro53 - Lahore / Gujrat (Web Desk): A hearing was held in a Lahore court in the case regarding alleged illegal recruitments in the Punjab Assembly, involving former Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and other accused.
According to details, the hearing was conducted by Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich. The court approved a one-day exemption from appearance for Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
The court also sought arguments on Parvez Elahi’s request for permanent exemption from court attendance.
Additionally, the court asked for arguments on the acquittal plea filed by co-accused Mukhtar Ranjha. The hearing of the case has been adjourned until March 31.
