Metro53 - KARACHI (Web Desk) – The federal government has decided to appoint senior Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nihal Hashmi as the Governor of Sindh.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent the summary to President Asif Ali Zardari for approval.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Nihal Hashmi and congratulated him on his appointment. The meeting was also attended by Rana Sanaullah, Ishaq Dar, and other senior leaders.
Nihal Hashmi is a senior PML-N leader from Karachi. Currently, Kamran Khan Tessori of MQM-Pakistan holds the position of Governor Sindh.
