Metro53 - Jhelum (Web Desk) – The attacker who was killed during the firing incident at the academy of Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza has been identified, and details about his background have also emerged.
According to police sources, the suspect has been identified as Bilal Ahmed, son of Bahadur Khan, belonging to the Pathan community and a resident of Noora Allah area in Mianwali. He was approximately 25 years old.
DPO Mianwali Waqar Kharl stated that the suspect’s brother, Muhammad Sajid, is serving in the Elite Police Mianwali.
Police further revealed that the suspect had a criminal background. In 2016, when he was a ninth-grade student, he allegedly shot and killed his teacher with a 12-bore gun after a dispute, following which he was sent to jail. Later, in 2017, relatives of the deceased reportedly killed one of his brothers, and in 2018, a reconciliation was reached between both parties.
