Metro53 - LAHORE (Web Desk): Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has been arrested in Lahore under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (3-MPO).
According to family sources cited by private TV channel Dunya News, Aleema Khan was taken into custody by police while she was travelling with her driver to the Gymkhana Club.
Sources said personnel from the Lytton Road Police Station arrested her and her vehicle was subsequently taken to the police station.
Aleema Khan is expected to be shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail, while further details regarding the grounds for her detention have yet to emerge.
