Metro53 - LAHORE, GUJRAT (Web Desk): Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain attended the Pakistan Youth Leadership Conference in Lahore as the chief guest. The conference brought together young students, professionals and representatives from various fields from across Pakistan.
The conference was chaired by Pakistan Muslim League Youth President Kamran Saeed Usmani. The central theme was “Does Pakistan Need New Provinces?”, with young leaders given an opportunity to present their views, suggestions and proposals on the issue.
Addressing the gathering, Chaudhry Salik Hussain said the voices of young people could not be ignored on important national issues concerning Pakistan’s future. He said youth should be provided opportunities to openly express their views on the creation of new provinces, improved governance, administrative reforms and equitable development.
He said the youth were not only Pakistan’s future but also an important national force today. Such dialogues, he added, could help connect young people with the national decision-making process and provide new direction for the country’s future.
The federal minister said Pakistan’s future was linked with an empowered and informed youth, stressing the need to give their voices greater importance in discussions on national issues.
The conference concluded with the passage of a resolution calling for the creation of new provinces.
